Reflection is hugely important, in life and in business. Our founder and director, Natalie, began tracking successes back in 2017, to remember what she had achieved that year and where she had got to. Running a business is tough so every win needs celebrating. This grew into the idea of creating infographics so they could be framed and hung in the office for staff to see our journey. 4 years later we began sharing those results with our audience too, because we are proud of that journey and the work we do… and with that said, here are our achievements in 2021:
Last year, we grew massively – both internally and externally!
2021 was the year of recruitment; we watched the team grow from four to nine, with two arriving through the Kickstart Scheme, and one joining after attending our very first recruitment day!
We think that our recruitment day was an innovative approach. By inviting applicants they could meet the team, tour our office and learn what working here is like.
With this abundance of recruiting, we expanded into a second office and launched our new employee benefits scheme!
The launch was great and shows the team that they are appreciated and rewarded for their magnificent work.
Not only that but Natalie was accepted back onto the NatWest Business Accelerator programme! It’s been a goal to return to the programme for a few years now, so it’s great that she’s achieved it!
As a business, we also signed up for the Better Business Act and we have just got the ball rolling in our application for B-Corp Accreditation which will further establish our vision as a purpose-driven business.
To help with this, we’re pleased to say our client base has grown and we’re working with more purpose-driven businesses! A whopping 65% of our clients share our vision!
Our team have created over 6,500 posts across all social media platforms! These posts managed to reach over 1.3 million users, making over 1.2 million impressions. Not only that but the posts we created have earned over 290,000 engagements as well!
Top mentions go to Pinterest and Twitter as they achieved the most impressions for Naturally Social and our clients combined! Pinterest received over 200,000 and Twitter received well over 1,000,000 impressions!
Instagram gave us approximately 30,000 engagements, and Twitter saw further success with over 14,000 link click-throughs!
Facebook also gets a well-earned mention here as we racked up over 1,900 page likes. Whilst on LinkedIn we helped our clients increase their connections by 300!
As well as going viral!
We were all ecstatic as we watched our first viral post build and build!
The post, shared earlier in the year during lockdown, earned over 2,000 shares, over 14,000 engagements and reached over 170,000 users – how amazing is that?!
The Wiltshire Digital Divide (or WDD for short!) had a fantastic year as they partnered up with BBC Radio Wiltshire. The support from the BBC resulted in over 2,000 device donations in just three months!
We were then able to redistribute over 1,000 laptops and PCs to those in need across Wiltshire. WDD also accumulated over £40,000 of grant applications to fund the initiative allowing us to plan for the longevity of this great Community Interest Company.
After we watched the Wiltshire Digital Drive being shortlisted for NINE awards and even won two of them, we push on and assisted in the launch of a successful charity campaign. AND we helped launch two new start-ups, one service-based business and one product-based business!
The success does not stop there. We achieved a massive 85% occupancy of available appointments for a brand new business through organic social media alone.
We didn’t shy away from award season last year, having been named a finalist in FIVE different awards and achieved podium success for three of them!
Our founder, Natalie, won silver for PR and Marketing Services at the Best Businesswomen Awards. Naturally Social took home the gold at the SME News Business Elite Awards for being the best in Social Media Management and Training. Natalie also picked up the Corsham Community Pride Award for 2021.
There we have it, 2021 was fantastic! It’s been such a momentous year and cannot wait to see what 2022 brings for us! We’re already starting strong with Natalie being named amongst the F: Entrepreneur list. Alongside this, we’re gaining some impressive stats for our clients! I’ll be tracking our impact and achievements throughout 2022 and will be sharing those with you again in 12 months’ time!
