Our Year In Review – 2024

Rachael Luckham

Welcome to Our Year in Review! Looking back at the past 12 months is an important exercise for all businesses, no matter the industry. It allows you to celebrate successes and reflect on what could have gone better. We not only use this to inform our work and set the direction for the following 12 months but it’s also a great way to recognise teamwork.

From continuing to embrace emerging technologies to empowering purpose-driven businesses.  We’re proud of the work we completed and the results we achieved last year. Here’s a look back at the key stats and a glimpse of what’s to come in 2025.

Let’s celebrate success:

This year has been packed with exciting milestones and measurable growth. We’ve continued to deliver impactful results for our clients and ourselves and have broken down the headlines by platform:

  • On LinkedIn, with organic content alone for a handful of clients. We generated 110,364 impressions between 1st January and the 15th December 2024.
  • Across the Instagram channels we manage, we saw 35,494 views on the content we produced.
  • Facebook continues to deliver for our clients, and us, as we saw an amazing 660,478 views on content shared!
  • 2024 was the year we re-focused on our own Pinterest account and achieved 35,670 impressions through ‘Evergreen Content’
  • We’ve been talking about AI for a while now… and 2024 was the year we began integrating it in our work, and that of our clients.

In November, we were commissioned to work with Wiltshire Police, on their Serious Violence campaign. AI played a fundamental role in the content creation process, from ideation to delivery.

Using AI allowed us to create designs and visuals at twice the speed and twice the impact. So much so that the hero images for this campaign, produced with AI, were preferred to the options presented from paid stock imagery.  In doing so, we not only saved them money but we were able to meet the tight turnaround time.

"As we look ahead to a new year, we’re excited to continue building on the momentum from 2024 including the relaunch of the Social Media Academy."

Supporting organisations with varying budgets:

Throughout this year, we’ve continued to support a number of small businesses with 1-2-1 social media mentoring because not everyone can outsource their social strategy and management.

Listening to the pain points of clients, potential clients, and members of our network, we’re extremely aware of the varying budgets and resources that are available to entrepreneurs, small businesses and small charities. If you’re looking for free resources to support your marketing efforts check out our most popular ones from last year:

  • For those looking to utilise or upgrade their use of TikTok we’ve redesigned our Top TikTok Tips download.
  • If you’re getting started with AI and want to know how it can support your social media efforts, this AI Cheat Sheet is a quick guide to getting started.
  • If you’re already using AI, do you have a policy in place and are you disclosing it? We’ve blogged about it and you can find a free transparency statement that you’re welcome to adapt for yourselves.

Team Milestones:

Let’s not forget that behind every success story is a team dedicated to making a difference. While 2024 has looked a little different to previous years at Naturally Social, our achievements have been more significant!

Natalie’s New Qualification: This year Natalie has gone even further with her enthusiasm and passion for AI and in the Spring, she earned her CIM Level 6 Specialist Award in AI. This achievement demonstrates her expertise and forward-thinking approach to leveraging Artificial Intelligence.

She’s also been working hard on a new Ai training course which launches in early 2025… I you’re looking to get ahead when it comes to using AI for social media, be sure to join the waiting list!

Rachael’s Promotion: January will be my 5th year with Naturally Social, having started as Business Development Manager in 2020, I’ve been lucky enough to progress through to Business Manager and into my newest position this year – Head of Client Services.

As someone who is passionate about customer service it’s been great to focus more on this element of the business, adding something new to what we offer our clients.

So, what’s happening in 2025?

As we look ahead to a new year, we’re excited to continue building on the momentum from 2024 including the relaunch of the Social Media Academy.
Here’s a sneak peek at what’s coming:

  • 2025 Trends Blog: We’ll be kicking off the new year with insights into the key trends shaping social media marketing in 2025. We’re passionate about being ahead of the curve and look forward to sharing this blog with you once we’re back at our desks in the new year.
  • The relaunch of the Social Media Academy: We’re excited to share that we’re officially relaunching the SMA with AI Made Easy. Our new course will help businesses and charities to navigate AI with confidence. Stay tuned for details and be the first to know when it goes live.
  • Going all in on Pinterest: Like we mentioned at the start of the blog, Pinterest is hugely underrated! We’re aware and have been aware of this power platform for years (it’s also my favourite platform!). So, 2025 will see us going all in and committing to posting regularly to this search and discovery platform. Make sure you following us!
  • BCorp Recertification: Our commitment to purpose-driven practices continues as we move toward the summer of 2025 and begin to prepare for BCorp recertification. As organisations have to recertify every 3 years, we’ll be ensuring to take the time to work through updating our application in the hopes to improve on score we achieved in March 2023.

Let’s stay connected:
